SAHARA is a versatile hybrid duo with live instrumental and vocal performance backed by custom digital backing tracks providing a full sound – with a small footprint – perfect for any venue. We perform a wide variety of Modern Pop, Classic Rock, Power Ballads, New Country, Disco Dance Hits, Jazz standards and seasonal favorites.
SAHARA plays at many of the east end waterfront restaurants and wineries. The combination of Fred and Lucy has proven to be dynamic, fun and versatile – SAHARA is always a hit.
A little about us.
Lucy Caracappa– Lead Vocals
Before moving to eastern Long Island Lucy spent over a decade living in New York City performing at nightclubs and cabaret venues plus performed in musical theatre as well. Lucy is a real pro - she delivers!
Fred Miner- Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals – A North Fork native. Fred lives in Southold – he's been playing gigs on Long Island for over 40 years and just loves playing out and trying new things. Fred makes it happen!
